The Greek owl is a symbol of wisdom, clarity, and protection, primarily associated with the goddess Athena. The little owl, who was often depicted on coins and as a companion to the goddess, was considered a good omen. The coin was sandcast and each piece is handmade in small batches from recycled sterling silver.
